WordPress: The Crunchies 2007

L’attuale versione ufficiale di WordPress è la 2.3.2. Ci si aspettava originariamente il rilascio di una versione 2.4 per il mese si Dicembre 2007, poi è slittato. La WordPress Roadmap riporta ora la data del 24 Gennaio 2008 per l’uscita della WordPress 2.4, ma un recente messaggio di Matt Mullenweg sulla WP-Hackers mailing list parlava di un salto diretto alla 2.5 quale prossima versione della piattaforma di publishing. "In light of the big changes happening in the codebase and admin section, we’re going to push back the next release to be aimed for early March. This is the timeframe when 2.5 was originally schedule for, so we’re treating the originally planned 2.4 in December as a skipped release, as a result of both the holidays and the large changes which we weren’t able to start on until late October. There’s some good stuff in the oven, and we don’t want to rush it. The new release shall be called 2.5. Various official docs and roadmaps will be updated in due course" è quanto Matt Mullenweg ha comunicato in proposito.
Vabbè, sono un utilizzatore della piattaforma WordPress, mi soddisfa, e l’ho votata per il "The Crunchies 2007".
